3 More Months...to take the decision!!!

I want to get settled in life. I dont want to run after big perks. To do this, I need to get good hike so that I can concentrate on my life enrichment and career growth. These days I am unable to focus on work. I am doing my job but there is no satisfaction in doing the work.

According to me work should be passionate. One should never feel unhappy about what he is doing - whether it is development or support. I never bothered about the technology which I am working on. I was bothered about my life how it is going to be turned out in the coming days.....

I m not getting proper sleep these days

For an employee to be a complete satisfied, according to me 3 things will play the role. One is Job Satisfaction, second is healthy team environment, obviously the third one is which everyone ran about i.e. salary package.

I am very much privileged to have the second one. Here why I am not disclosing the information about the one and three is, I am not happy about those two.

Trying to fit in New Role

I proved myself as a good programmer / developer. Now the time came to prove myself as a good leader who can guide the team while facing challenges. Ofcourse, for everyone accepting new responsibilites is a bit difficult in the starting. I am not different to that. Patience, cool mindedness, and dynamic response are the essentials to be sucessful as a leader.

Like my previous company identified a splendid feature called flexibility in me, this company identified another feature called leadership skills in me. Being a leader how much I can gain more technical knowldge not sure, but enjoying the new role for now.

Lets see how my future will be moulded in 2012. Hope it should be good :)

These days I am a Happy person......Got 32% Hike + Promotion.

Also some more reasons for my happiness is - my Onsite Coordinator made me Offshore lead for the project and gave the compliment that now i became key member of the team.

For anyone who is getting such kind of compliments, obviously fly high, even me too. But this is not the place where I want to be. I want to be in Oracle Apps side the reason behind my wish is after some years i want to turn as a functional guy not anymore a technical guy.

Everybody will have a dream that they want to be an Engineer, doctor or lawyer or something else. But my dream is to earn more and more money. After so many years of my dream, even today also my dream left as a dream only.

I changed a lot during this time, lost interest in earning money, lost aggression, gained the confidence and coolness. Now, If I looked back to my past, I am not the happy person with the way I am changed during this period.

I can see a lot of variation in the dream and the reality.

I am in Confusion...!!!

I Dont knw whether I made the right decision or wrong decision, but I am in confused state right now. I changed the company to get the self satisfaction both professionally and economically. But now in my mind fear started as like I am moving away from the Oracle Apps which is my dream.

I want to become Oracle Apps Techno Functional guy. For that I want to be strong in Coding part so that I had chosen this job.

It was bit emotional and painful to leave the friends here...but to grow myself personally and professionally...I think the step what I took is the right one at the right time.

Next week, my last week in Estuate... the company with which I am having sweet and soar memories to take to my future.

Experience I gained here is more about the communication and presentation rather than hard work or smart work. I may be right or wrong in my views, but I like to be like me forever. I dont have any complaints about my current organization but have some suggestions... which i dont want to tell bcz they are not in a position to take advices.

Hurray ! Time to Switch the Job

Today I am very happy that I got a new Job. I am thrilling about the new environment I am going to work after two months.

I am telling that I am very happy because...to get my first job I made atleast 30 trails(Including 12 in the College Campus). But my second job got in my 5th trail.

Salary is not much more than my existing, but i have confidence that i can learn more subject and can gain better experience as compared to my current one.

One way I was very sad as I am going to leave my collegues(it is correct rather calling them as collegues, it is better to call them as friends...very good friends).

My current job gave me one beautiful gift. i.e Flexibility. I gained the confidence that i can work on any technology that i was kept.

mmm....got the appraisal........

Atlast the time came for me to get the appraisal...........on 1st Feb, 2010 my company announced the Hike.....Now I reached 5 digit Salary per month....This is what I dreamed my career to start with....Anyway past is past we cant change the things already happened but we can mould our career atleast the way we want.

Like January 1st 2009, this year(2010) January 1st, i had taken one good decision ....Keep 10% of my salary as savings. I am also having dream of buying a Bike by this year ending.

Time for Appraisal.....

May be anyone will show interest in appraisal...but my past experience not letting me to feel happy during this appraisal period. Six months back i am also one the happy person when received my first appraisal form in my career. But the result leaves great dissapointment and let my courage down very low.

As I was working with good teammates that time(particulary Mr.Dev), they lifted my confidence levels and encouraged me a lot to regain my pace in work.

This time I have no interest in the Appraisal process and i have no estimations regarding the appraisals.

Today I read an Inspiring Quote

" If I cant focus on my work then I have no business for being here"

This was the encouraging notes given by a fablous actor in Bollywood. This lend the people to rethink about what they are doing and for what purpose they really meant for. According to me, the year 2007 is the most dissapointing time for me as i used to see atleast 3000-4000 movies during that term.

It makes me no difference which language i had watched, it includes a long list of English, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Russian, Spanish and many more.Now I dont want to let my time to be wasted. This encouraging words prone some confidence in me to mould my career into my own destiny.

My Sweet Memories of Childhood

Today September,05 --- Teachers' Day , a day celebrated in memory of Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan, a teacher once and who had the Highest Honor of the Country.

On this moment, I got some memories on my mind of my childhood......I studied at St. John's Public School upto the IV th Standard in my Hometown. There I still remember my English Teacher...Hymavathi....My Maths Teacher Nageswara rao and Telugu Teacher Lakshmi....One day when I was not went to Play the games in the Sports Hour my English Teacher called me as....."Hey Old Man ! Can't U play the Games".....This the first comment I got in my life.

After that I joined the Best convent where I completed My Primary Education upto X th Class. There I remember My teachers like Ramanatham, Sundaram Sir, Bhanu Sir, Guna Sir, Natural Science Teacher ( dont remember her name )....Its a sweet memories in my life.

Intermediate (PUC) is routine busy schedule.......no time to enjoy myself....

I Still remember that in Graduation I am not used to speak with the girls. Even when they spoke to me I jst answered them like a unknown. One day my friend who is used to speak with girls told me that my Class girls kept me a nick name ........"ROBOT", it is because i never move freely while they are nearby also.

Yesterday, may be a routine to many of the people bt for me it is some sort of special because it is the day that i completed successfully 1 month in the office. For a typical person like me who is not mingle well with the friends and neighbours it is very special that i came to know i am also a social being that am able to do well with the friends.

One another special moment that I received compliments from the Team Lead regarding my work. Any one feels pleasure and wants to receive compliments from the Seniors and I am not distinct to that. Still now I am not assigned to any project and I am waiting for the moment to prove myself. In this moment I came to notice a phrase in the local news paper...

"If you celebrate the Success, You must ready to celebrate the Failure"

This phrase touches my heart and give substantial energy levels to combat with the failures.

The motivation I got from my friends is always being not forgetful even in the future where i am going to the new heights.
